Here is our Tommy and his bike on ONLY 2 wheeles!!! We were practicing in our church parking lot and he finally just took off! He just giggled and was SOOO EXCITED that he could do it! In this video clip he is riding it on the side of our street. Please note that I made sure there were no cars coming and we were safe. Notice there are NO sidewalks in Pennslyvania. Okay, there are a few sidewalks but not very many. And Kara, my friend....all our kids and our kids friends have helmets! :) :) (and use them) I was thinking of you and had to add that in......

Caitlin is workin' those socks!! She loves this store called "Justice" out here and striped socks are the thing among other cool middle school things. She has a wish list.....
Jordan is a cubscout now and loves it!! He and Mike (the scouting dad) went to the local Wal-mart and took a turn to sell containers of popcorn for a fundraiser for their troop. It was so cold and rainy Saturday!!! But they made it and felt good that they contributed to the troop cause.

YES! this is a $50 dollar bill! Caitlin sent out these magazine postcards to all of her friends in Utah and then she received a little keychain with a small white hoodie attached to it. Well, inside the hoodie was this $50 bill!! So, out of over 300 kids in the 6th grade, Cate WON!! Now, those of you that receive the little magazine postcard....don't feel pressure. It is a fundraiser and she knew lots of people in Utah. :) So, she thanks you for helping her name be picked for the $50 bucks!! That girls luck!!! WELCOME TO PENNSYLVANIA CAITLIN RAE!!!

Update......

Hey everyone!!! I took Jordan to the endodontist for his front tooth and GOOD NEWS it is healing well and it is growing again. Slowly but surely.....so now we just have to go back once a month or so and have him keep checking it to make ure the root is filling in and getting stronger! It has been quite an ordeal, but he has been a trooper and we could definitely use some good news on that big front tooth of his. :)

Tommy is six!

Tommy's birthday party with some of his new friends. They were playing musical chairs! "Hurry Tommy get that seat over there!" :)
The Pittsburg zoo was so amazing!! We loved it and look how cute this little baby elephant is....

That is an actual Lion! ROAR!!

Look at this grizzley bears claws....he was massive!!!

This zoo had an aquarium inside it too. This was a tank of fish that was indoors...we couldn't believe how huge these fish were!! And handsome Tommy to your right....

This was scary and amazing too. Tommy wasn't too sure about this exhibit, but he was brave and went through the tunnel of water~!!! We would walk in this tunnel and there was water on the sides of you and above you!! It freaked me out, but I was brave too. These are sand tiger sharks....apparently it was a new shark for the zoo.

This is what the sand tiger shark looked like from the side. These pics were taken by Caitlin Snow, by the way!!

This was my personal favorite animal! The polar bear!! You could go under the tunnel of water and see him swim and then, by the grizzley bears you could see him above water. Again pics from our cate.

Look at those paws!!! He looked so light and graceful when he was swimming...It was so neat to be that close to him.... So, when you all come visit us, we will make sure to go to the zoo!!!

Sweet Jordan the big 8 year old!!!!

pitt zoo

Once upon a time there was a little 8 year old lad named Jordan. He was a very cute and energetic little boy. Well, one night he was jumping on the trampoline and as he was coming down from a jump, he caught his big front tooth on the net that surrounded the royal tramp!! The permenant tooth popped out and landed by his dad's foot on the deck!!! He cried and we hurried and called a dentist on call. And she put it back in his mouth, OUCH!!!, and then put this wire on his front row of teeth. It was quite an ordeal, the poor boy, but his mom and dad tried to make him comfortable and he was very brave. He had to wear the brace for 10 days and no gym class and no recess!! Oh, the lad was a trooper and he will be getting his brace off this Wednesday and the kingdom is going is going to have a celebration!!!

The next day, Saturday, Jord was baptized and comfirmed. He was one happy boy!! Check out the pictures. It was a good day. My parents and little sister, Julie were able to come out too!! It was so wonderful to have them here with us!!!
