A Busy April and May

Look who has glasses now?!  Tommy Snow does and he is so excited to have them help him with reading and the board in class.  He takes very good care of them and is faithful to wear them.  :)
We had our final piano/music recital with our fabulous Ms. Denise!!  We are so sad she is moving but excited for her new adventure in Tampa, Florida.  We love her so much and so thankful to her getting us started on piano!  She devoted so much time and patience with us Snow people.  We will never forget her!!  She is also a very good friend of mine and we will definitely be keeping in touch!

Mike was getting Jordan all reading for his first overnighter without Mike.  It was his first official Boy Scout campout and he had to set up his tent by himself and hike to get to the camp site.  WAY TO GO JORDAN SNOW!!  (He was trying so hard not to fall backwards.....)
Jordan and his friend, Derek Johnson, put this board together with lots of information about Rocks and Minerals for the Science/Art Fair this year!  They worked really hard on getting all the info and pictures together too!  You ROCK (get it) boys!!
Tommy Snow is officially a Webelos now!  Look how sharp he looks in his uniform....It seems just yesterday, Jord was wearing the same thing.  It's so crazy how fast time goes!!

RELAY FOR LIFE!  Cate and her friends had a team and collected money for cancer victims.  It's a HUGE deal for our schools and the girls are always walking the track in 2's for cancer!  Each "team" gets an idea together to raise money for cancer research.  "Smile for a Cure" girls did carnival games.  So people all over Murrysville would come to the high school and participate in the games and fundraisers.  It was so fun to help Caitlin get to her planning meetings and help her with the time and things she needed.  I got to volunteer a few hours that day and help chaperone and help the girls....they even had stuffed animals the kids could win, hanging all around their tent for the games.  It was very clever!!!  There were a lot of booths, from a dunk tank to hair braiding to selling popsicles.  A lot of time and effort went into this!
